Some software engineer skiing in the Italian Dolomites.

Hey there, my name is Piotr Gadzinski, and I am a Lead Software Engineer at Faye Business Systems Group. I’ve been professionally involved with software engineering for over 15 years. My various roles have ranged from individual contributor to technical lead and manager in a variety of verticals. Remote-first, since 2015.

My daily routine usually includes a mix of writing, reviewing, and deploying code, as well as some leadership and enablement (i.e., getting other engineers what they need). Most of the time, I work on custom software and integration projects, where I coordinate work and collaborate within engineering teams across three continents and multiple time zones.

I appreciate good documentation and really enjoy mentoring junior developers. Sharing knowledge and helping others grow gives me enormous satisfaction so at some point I decided to start this blog. To write about things I learn and to give back to the community – by teaching others stuff I know, work with or just find interesting. I believe that each and every day is a great opportunity to become a better software engineer and a better human!

After hours, I devote myself to varied interests, such as entrepreneurship, self-development, travel, and electronic music production. Oh, and I love skiing!

I’m always keen on learning new things and meeting people. I strongly believe that sharing is caring so if you need some engineering help, want to ask me questions or just say hi, do not hesitate to reach out!
